Crawley's board have insisted that the club will meet the deadline of 11 May- by when they must pay off their Company Voluntary Agreement. The club agreed a CVA with creditors after going into administration last year with debts of nearly 1.4m.
It must be paid off if they are to remain in the Conference top flight.
"Funds are in place. The directors are working with (administrators) Begbies Traynor to clear up any disputes over payments," a club statement read.
"Once a final figure of the full amount owed is received, a cash amount will be lodged with the administrators early next week, before the Friday, 11 May deadline.
"It has been a difficult season for everyone involved in the club but after the tremendous efforts in sustaining league status, the directors are dedicated to ensuring the completion of the CVA, guaranteeing our status (in the Conference)."
