Troubled Conference club Crawley Town have finally been put into administration, reports BBC Southern Counties Radio. The club's owners, the Majeed family, have obtained the court order needed at a hearing in Leeds.
Insolvency specialists Begbies Traynor will now effectively be in control.
The Reds were deducted three points and fined for breaking Conference financial rules last season and now face a 10 point deduction ahead of next season.
Last season also saw a 50% wage cut imposed by the owners.
