Coventry midfielder David Bell says that Saturday's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace was the ideal way to bounce back from the 4-1 defeat by Newcastle.
Bell came off the bench to score the only goal at Selhurst Park days after City were hammered at St James' Park.
"Hopefully we can continue our form and we can put Newcastle to bed," Bell told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
"It was something we needed to get over quickly and luckily the game came on Saturday and we took the three points."
City have won three of their last four league games, keeping three clean sheets in the process, to climb to 10th in the Championship.
