Bristol City full-back Tom Williams has agreed a further one-month extension to his Colchester United loan deal.
The 30-year-old will now stay with the U's until his Robins contract expires on 31 December.
Williams has featured eight times for Colchester and scored in October's 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
Boss John Ward's first choice left-back Marc Tierney is recovering from a hernia operation and is expected to be out for another fortnight.
