Colchester United have extended the loan deal of Wolves defender Danny Batth until the end of the season.
The centre-back initially joined for one month in September and has become a regular member of the starting XI.
The 19-year-old was brought to the club as cover for injured captain Pat Baldwin soon after manager Aidy Boothroyd took over.
Since arriving at the Community Stadium he has made five starts for the U's who are unbeaten in seven league games.
