Ryan is eager to develop his leadership skills off the field aswell as on it
Chester caretaker player-manager Tim Ryan says he is wanting to move into management full time in the future.
Ryan, who is also club captain, took the managerial reigns following the departure of Mick Wadsworth last week.
"I'd love to stop playing as I enjoy being on the side line," said Ryan. "I enjoy coaching and it's something I want to do in the future.
"Whether now is the time I don't know. But if I'm playing Saturday and not managing I'll give my all as captain."
Chester drew 0-0 with Hayes & Yeading on Saturday and are due to face Rushden & Diamonds at the Deva Stadium at the weekend.
Ryan and club physio Billy Gerrard are in line to look after team affairs for the second time if a manager is not appointed at the club ahead of the fixture.
