Cheltenham Town have extended the loan of Coventry and England Under-19 striker Shaun Jeffers until January.
The 18-year-old initially arrived at Whaddon Road from the Championship club on a one-month deal.
"We're delighted with his progress. He's only started one game but has scored two goals," Cheltenham boss Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"He's a young boy and still got a lot to learn but the good thing is he's got a fantastic attitude."
Jeffers has been selected for the England Under-19 match against Slovakia on Thursday.
"Even though he's got in the England squad I still see that desire and want in him and he's got a strong possibility of starting on Saturday," added Yates.
"He's just desperate to keep learning and keep improving and that's a message for all my young boys to do the same."
