League One side Cheltenham have denied they are about to follow League Two club Darlington into administration.
In a statement on their website, the club outline three areas that have affected their financial position.
Increased controls from HM Revenue and Customs, a desire from banks to reduce overdrafts and a playing budget deficit have led to financial pressure.
The club, currently bottom of the table, have promised to restructure in order to meet their liabilities.
