Allen is keen for his team to meet Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round

League One outfit Cheltenham Town have signed Reading striker Nicholas Bignall on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old, who had a spell on loan at Northampton earlier on in the season, could make his debut for the Robins at Colchester on Saturday.

"I have watched him on many occasions and have seen him grow and develop," said Cheltenham boss Martin Allen. "He's young, raw, hungry and fast."

Bignall is Cup-tied for their FA Cup replay at Doncaster next week.
