Charlton manager Phil Parkinson has been given a Football Association misconduct charge over comments he made after last month's 4-3 win at Carlisle.
Parkinson was critical of the performance of referee Scott Mathieson.
Speaking at the time, he said: "He's a referee I normally like, but I felt he was their best player for 20 minutes."
The Addicks boss has already served a two-match touchline ban after being sent to the stands during the home draw against Dagenham in September.
