Charlton manager Phil Parkinson says he understands why supporters were so angry following their worst home result for six years.
The Addicks were booed off after their 4-0 defeat by Brighton and one fan had to be restrained near the dugout.
"It's not nice when that happens but the fans' reaction was understandable," Parkinson told BBC London 94.9.
"I take full responsibility because I'm the manager and I pick the team and decide how we're going to play."
He added: "I accept that you're going to get a fair amount of criticism levelled at myself and the team.

"Our supporters are passionate about the club and when they see us get beaten 4-0 at home it is hard to take.
"I think any supporters anywhere in the world would have reacted the way our supporters did."
