Charlton manager Phil Parkinson has praised the club's board of directors for trying to raise transfer funds.
Parkinson hopes to bolster his promotion-chasing squad with new signings before the closure of the January transfer window.
He told BBC Radio Kent: "The board are working exceptionally hard to give the club every chance of getting promoted.
"At the moment I'm not sure how much room for manoeuvre there is. But I expect it to become clearer soon."
Parkinson confirmed that striker Izale McLeod's loan to Peterborough had allowed him to re-sign Reading's David Mooney on loan.
He added: "Apart from Yassin Moutaouakil going out and Dean Sinclair returning to Barnet, I don't envisage anyone else going.
"So anyone else coming in would be additional to what we've got."
