Konchesky was given his marching orders following a collision with Chelsea's Enrique de Lucas. Graham Barber brandished the red card to Konchesky and signalled a use of the elbow for the left-back's dismissal. Addicks boss Alan Curbishley was angered by the decision at the time and still believes the club have a case. "The video clearly shows that there was an accidental clash of heads between the two players, and at no time was an elbow involved," Curbishley told the club's official website. "Therefore we're asking the FA to take a look at the incident." |
