Bermuda striker Nahki Wells to join Carlisle United
Bermuda international striker Nahki Wells will sign a deal at Carlisle United on 1 January 2011 until the end of the current League One season.
Wells, 19, had been training with the Cumbrians in recent months, and impressed boss Greg Abbott enough to seal a longer stay at Brunton Park.
"Nahki has an excellent attitude," Abbott told the club website.
"We have decided to bring him back so that we can take a much longer look at him. He definitely has quality."
Abbott added: "The idea is that we will get him here and see whether he can progress to become better than what we already have.
"The challenge for him now is to come here, work with us full-time and show us what he can really do."
United have Gary Madine, Francois Zoko, Ryan Bowman, Richard Offiong, Craig Curran and Andy Cook as permanent strikers at Brunton Park, with Leeds United forward Mike Grella and Stoke City forward Ben Marshall currently on loan.
