Carlisle boss Abbott 'devastated' at Plymouth equaliser
Abbott's side conceded a last minute goal in the Carling Cup on Wednesday
Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott has admitted he was devastated with Plymouth Argyle's late equaliser in their 1-1 draw in League Two.
Ian Harte put Carlisle ahead but Rory Patterson pulled it back on 94 minutes.
Abbott told BBC Cumbria: "If you'd said at the start we'd take four points from the first two games then we'd have taken it.
"But we're absolutely devastated not to have taken six out of six - we're looking forward now to MK Dons."
Abbott continued: "It was a killer but the bigger picture is that we're happy and we've got a standing ovation again, so it's great we haven't disappointed the supporters.
"Did they deserve that last gasp goal? Probably not.
"But the players deserve a lot of plaudits, we're just hoping we can maintain the form and determination to kick on from here."
