Carlisle United have signed Manchester City midfielder Adam Clayton on loan until January.
Clayton, 20, joins the Cumbrians having established himself as a regular in the Premier League club's successful youth and reserve teams.
The central midfielder also has England under-20 recognition and Carlisle United manager Greg Abbott says he is keen to work with the player.
"We think he will fit in nicely," Abbott told the club website.
