Carlisle United have extended the trial of former Liverpool striker Craig Lindfield after he netted in a 7-3 reserve team win against Blackpool.
The 20-year-old left Liverpool at beginning of August, and following his run-out, Blues boss Greg Abbott is keen to take a further look at the player.
"He did very well when you consider he hasn't had much football," he told the club's official website.
"We'll have another look at him during the training session on Tuesday."
Lindfield has spent time on loan at Notts County, Chester, Bournemouth and Accrington Stanley before his release from the Anfield club, and has 36 professional appearances to his name, having scored four goals.
