Trailist defender Tyrone Cameron may be given another chance to earn a contract at Carlisle United after impressing in the friendly win at Chester City.
The 18-year-old, who is on a week's trial from Premier League side Fulham, played 55 minutes in Tuesday's 3-1 win at the Saunders Honda Stadium.
"He's a decent player and he did well. We were pleased with what we saw," boss John Ward told BBC Radio Cumbria.
Cameron started the game at right-back before being substituted by Ward.
The teenager was a regular in Fulham's academy and reserve teams last season.

"He's got some pace and a good touch and a super attitude," the Cumbrians boss said.
"He came up from London to Carlisle on the train on his own to try and further his career and he showed that determination on the pitch as well.
"He's been at reserve-team and academy level so this was a big challenge for him but I'm happy with what I've seen so far."
Ward also praised striker teenage striker Gary Madine, who scored his first senior goal for the club against Chester. The 17-year-old signed a three-year-deal with the club this summer after turning down the chance to join Newcastle United.
"It will be good for him and it's a little confidence booster," Ward said.
