Preece is looking forward to representing Carlisle in the Masters
Former Carlisle United striker Andy Preece will once again pull on a blue shirt when he represents the club in Sunday's Masters Tournament.
The 41-year-old will link up with other former players including Paul Simpson and Jimmy Glass and is looking forward to running out at Newcastle Arena.
"I had a fantastic time at Carlisle," the former Bury and Worcester City player-manager told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"It's great to be asked to play and catch up with a few of the old lads and
hopefully we can do well in the event."

Preece has been out of the game since parting company with Worcester in October 2007 and he hopes his fitness will hold up in the tournament.
"It's really intense. We did a lot of small-sided games in pre-season training as a player because it's good for the fitness," he said.
"I'm keeping fit but I haven't played since October time. We'll see how it goes but it's something I'm looking forward to."
Preece began his career at Evesham and played for Northampton, Worcester, Wrexham, Stockport, Crystal Palace, Blackpool, Bury and Carlisle before returning to Worcestershire to manage City in 2005.
Carlisle will be joined in their group by Newcastle United, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Darlington and Hartlepool.
