Carlisle United striker Andy Preece has joined Conference North side Worcester City as their new player-manager, reports BBC Radio Cumbria. He moves back to his home town club after a 14-month spell at Brunton Park.
Preece, 37, scored 11 times for United this season - four of those goals in one game at Runcorn in his penultimate appearance for the club.
Meanwhile, Carlisle boss Paul Simpson is stepping up attempts to bring in a new striker ahead of the weekend.
