Worcester City player-manager Andy Preece has walked out of the club after almost three years in charge. The decision was announced on Thursday evening after a meeting between the City board and the manager. Preece joined Worcester from Carlisle United in February 2005 and enjoyed reasonable success in previous seasons. But their recent poor form means they have won just four of their last 13 matches including Tuesday's 5-0 slump at bottom-of-the-table Hucknall Town.
