Cardiff are thought to value Parkin at 500,000 |
Cardiff are considering a move for Hull striker Jon Parkin, following Chris Killen's decision to snub them in favour of joining Celtic. Parkin, a burly 6ft 4ins front man, scored 10 goals last season, enjoying a successful loan spell at Stoke towards the end of the Championship campaign.
Cardiff are thought to have valued him at around 500,000, but the Tigers are believed to be seeking double that.
Stoke are also thought to be pursuing Barnsley-born Parkin, 25.
He started his career as a defender before making a successful switch up front.
