Striker Lowe began his career with non-league Burscough
Bury striker Ryan Lowe has signed a two-year extension to his current deal, keeping him at Gigg Lane until the end of the 2012/13 season.
The 32-year-old Liverpudlian, signed by Alan Knill from Chester City in the summer of 2009, scored 25 goals in 55 appearances for the Shakers.
He has scored nine times in 13 games this season and was named League Two player of the month for September.
Lowe has also played for Shrewsbury, Crewe and Stockport.
Lowe began his career with non-league Burscough before joining Shrewsbury in 2000 and had a stint with Crewe and a short loan spell at Stockport, as well as his two spells with Chester.
