Burton Albion have signed veteran defender Darren Moore following his release by Championship side Barnsley.
The 36-year-old former Jamaican international will join subject to the clearance of paperwork from the Tykes.
Birmingham-born Moore played in the Premier League at West Bromwich Albion and Derby, where he played alongside Burton boss Paul Peschisolido.
He then spent two years at Oakwell, clocking up 76 appearances until his release at the end of the season.
"I am absolutely delighted to have signed him," Burton manager Peschisolido told the club's website.
"His attitude is superb, he is the kind of player who is infectious. His attitude will rub off on other players and make the whole team better."
"This is a fresh challenge that I am looking forward to," said Moore. "I offer a wealth of experience, I'm a no nonsense type of player.
"I will always give my best and I expect the players around me to give their best as well."
