Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough has said his side will not get carried away despite going five points clear at the top of the Blue Square Premier.
The Brewers cemented their league lead with a 3-1 win over Cambridge United on Tuesday night.
Clough told BBC Radio Derby: "There's a lot of points and a long way to go yet.
"The players have worked exceptionally hard to get to this point but we keep stressing but there are no awards in December or January."
