Burnley announce record 14.4m pre-tax annual profit
Burnley have reported making record pre-tax profits of £14.4m for the 2009-10 season.
The accounts reflect a huge increase in revenue, particularly from television rights, during the Clarets' single year in the Premier League.
The previous season Burnley made a loss of £11.7m playing in the Championship.
Burnley chairman Barry Kilby told the club website: "The profit has been used to good effect to correct the losses incurred over previous years."
The club's annual general meeting will take place on 13 December.
Supporters are likely to press for part of the profit to be invested in new players during the January transfer window to boost the club's attempt to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
