Coyle celebrated with Wade Elliott (r), who scored the winner against Watford
Burnley manager Owen Coyle praised the "hunger and desire" of his players after seeing them come from behind to beat Watford on Tuesday.
Despite being among the candidates for September's manager of the month award, Coyle feels all the plaudits should be aimed at his current set of players.
"It was important to keep the momentum going," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I thought the quality of the second and third goals was fantastic and that's what we're trying to do here."
Coyle also highlighted the performance of striker Martin Paterson.
The 21-year-old, who joined Burnley for 1m from Scunthorpe in the summer, scored his seventh goal of the campaign in the 3-2 victory at Turf Moor.
"He works his socks off and you know what you're getting from him.
"The number of goals he's scored in such a short space of time shows why we invested in him and hopefully he'll go from strength to strength."
