Besart Berisha will return to Turf Moor in January
Burnley's Albanian international striker Besart Berisha has joined Norwegian club Rosenborg on loan.
The 23-year-old, who has yet to play a competitive match for the Clarets since his arrival last summer, will be at Rosenborg until 31 December.
Manager Owen Coyle told the club's website: "He has been out for a year and is not quite ready to start in our team just now.
"This'll enable him to get match games which are vital to his rehabilitation."
He will hopefully come back on 1 January as a new player and ready to play a part for Burnley Football Club

Berisha was signed by former Burnley manager Steve Cotterill from Hamburg for 300,000 but missed the whole of last season with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
"If he goes there he will hopefully come back on the 1 January as a new player and ready to play a part for Burnley Football Club. He desperately needs games," Coyle said.
Berisha recently scored his first goal for Burnley in a 3-0 pre-season friendly victory at Accrington Stanley.
