Brown delighted with permanent Rovers deal
Bristol Rovers newcomer Wayne Brown says he will fight for a place in the starting line-up.
The 21-year-old, who arrived from Premier League side Fulham, was one of four signings made by manager Paul Trollope during the close season.
The midfielder told BBC Points West: "It's going to be hard with everyone fighting for their places.
"We're all hoping to get a good pre-season and try to impress the manager as much as possible."
He added: "There's a few new players and we're all looking to get in the team."
Brown arrived on a loan spell at the Memorial Stadium in February and made four appearances for the club.
"I enjoyed my spell here though unfortunately I got injured so it was cut short. But the players and the manager were great. He said all the right things to me and I was delighted to make it permanent.
"Now I'm looking forward to hopefully getting in the starting XI and going on to do really well this season."
