Langley could make his Pirates debut against Hartlepool on Tuesday
Midfielder Richard Langley has thanked Bristol Rovers for showing faith in him after handing him a one-month deal.
The Jamaica international, 28, has been without a club since leaving Luton in the summer, following an injury-hit season due to a knee problem.
He told BBC Radio Bristol: "For Paul Trollope and Lennie Lawrence to have faith in me is brilliant.
"Hopefully I can progress from here and do as well as I can. It's a big relief - I've been training for a few weeks."
The former QPR and Cardiff midfielder played just 15 minutes for the Hatters last season - on the final day against Huddersfield.
It's the first time I've found myself in that situation [not having a club] in my 10 years of playing

He could feature for Rovers against Hartlepool on Tuesday.
He added: "I've had two reserve games and the games will come thick and fast over Christmas, hopefully I can take part in those and increase my fitness from there.
"I haven't played for a few months so to play in any game will be an amazing emotion for me, having been out for so long.
"It was one of the toughest times of my career, it's the first time I've found myself in that situation [not having a club] in my 10 years of playing.
"It was difficult to come to terms with it and realise it's a hurdle you have to overcome and try to stay completely focused and dedicated to your game, body and fitness."
And Langley, who had trials at Southend and Cheltenham in the summer, has thanked the Pirates players for making him feel at home.
"There is a lot of talent here - it's a great bunch of lads that have made me feel extremely welcome."
