Bristol Rovers say they are unlikely to attract a high-profile team to the Memorial Stadium this summer.
It looks like fans will watch just one home pre-season friendly, against Dutch side Den Haag on Saturday 2 August.
Rovers have confirmed their opponents for their three-game Scandinavian tour, which takes place 21-27 July.
The Pirates will face FC Copenhagen, MABI and LB07, during which time they will also field teams back home against Mangotsfield and Weston-super-Mare.
