Paul Trollope is confident that his Bristol Rovers team will be playing League One football next season despite having gone nine games without a win.

"We've got half an eye over our shoulder but are by no means panicking about it," the Rovers head coach told BBC Radio Bristol.

"We've still got the confidence and belief that we can win quite a few games before the end of the season."

"We've deserved to win the last six or seven, so there's no major panic."

Rovers are away to promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, looking for their first away win since 1 March.

"We've got to keep producing performances, and if we do and if we keep most people fit we should finish higher than we are now.

"If we can get up to that halfway spot, that would be fantastic."
