Bristol Rovers have bolstered their injury-hit defence by signing Cardiff City defender Joe Jacobson on loan for the rest of the season. The Wales Under-21 international, 20, has previously served Accrington on loan earlier this season.
However, he will be unable to play for Rovers in their upcoming two-legged Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern semi-final against Bristol City.
Jacobson is cup-tied after appearing for Accrington in an earlier round.
He made his debut for Cardiff last season, but has not featured for them in the Championship during the current campaign.
