Cardiff City full-back Joe Jacobson's proposed one-month loan move to Torquay United has fallen through. The Bluebirds say that the deal collapsed when the Torquay chairman refused to sanction the switch.
Wales Under-21 cap Jacobson, who turns 20 this Friday, has not played a senior league match for Championship leaders Cardiff this season.
Jacobson's only first-team involvement this term came in the Bluebirds' League Cup defeat to Barnet in August.
