Bristol City defender Christian Ribeiro has returned to action after almost a year out with a serious knee injury.
The 19-year-old Welsh Under-21 international damaged his cruciate ligaments on his first team debut last August against Peterborough United.
Ribeiro was given half an hour in City's four nil defeat to Ajax on Wednesday night.
"We were playing against a world-class side. I couldn't ask for more. I really enjoyed it," he told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I've worked so hard to get into this team in the last few years.
"When I did get my chance[against Peterborough] to only get 30 minutes play and be out again was devastating," said Ribeiro.
"But you've got to keep mentally strong and I've worked ever so hard to get back to where I am."

Ribeiro is one of three young Welsh defenders in the squad along with recently-signed Lewin Nyatanga and James Wilson.
"It's fantastic to have top-quality Welsh young players. We all get on well and it's brilliant for the future of the club."
