Kadeer Ali's unbeaten century went to waste as Gloucestershire's Pro40 clash with Worcestershire at Cheltenham was abandoned because of rain.

The 26-year-old hit two sixes and 11 fours in making exactly 100 as the home side reached 217-3 off 32.4 overs before the weather intervened.

James Franklin also hit 47 in a third-wicket stand of 88 with Kadeer before falling to Gareth Andrew (2-35).

Hamish Marshall was unbeaten on 38 from 23 balls when the game was called off.
