Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Gary Dicker has praised the effect defender Gordon Greer has had since his summer move from Swindon Town.
Injuries and suspensions have limited Greer to two appearances for the Seagulls, but he played the full 90 minutes in the win over Charlton.
Dicker told BBC Sussex: "He doesn't even want to lose a game in training.
"He's competitive, big and strong. He's been around in the Championship. He can only help us as a team."
Dicker, 24, added: "He's that voice at the back we needed when we were struggling last season. It's great to have him back."

The 4-0 win at The Valley has left Brighton, who are unbeaten in nine league games, three points clear at the top of League One.
"We've got a good blend; old, young, English, foreign - the lot," said Dicker.
"I don't think I've ever been at a club where everyone does actually get on with one another. It rubs off on the pitch as well."
