Bridcutt has had loan spells at Watford, Yeovil and Stockport
Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old former Chelsea trainee has made 10 appearances for the Seagulls since arriving in August on a five-month deal.
"I'm delighted to be offered the extension as it was one of my main aims," he told the club website.
"I said straight away I wanted to prove myself, and I feel like I'm doing well when I'm on the pitch and in training."
Bridcutt added: "I didn't know a lot about the club when I came here, but it's a great place to be and I feel like the whole team is improving every game."
