Defender Lewis Dunk signs Brighton & Hove Albion deal
Dunk was the captain of Albion's youth team last season
Brighton and Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk has signed his first professional contract, agreeing a two-year deal with the club.
Dunk made his first-team debut in the club's penultimate match of the season, the 0-0 draw away to MK Dons.
The 18-year-old said: "It's all I've wanted to do my whole life. I didn't want the season to end.
"It was brilliant when I got into the first team. Everything happened so quickly. It was totally surreal."
He added: "The manager [Gus Poyet] spoke to me at the end of last season. He told me to keep doing what I've been doing and he'll have another look at me in pre-season."
Meanwhile, 16-year-old Jake Caskey has agreed a three-year deal with the club. He will begin on a one-year scholarship and then start a two-year professional contract when he turns 17.
