Brighton boss Gus Poyet set for new contract talks
Poyet was named Brighton boss in November
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet is set to have contract talks this week for himself and his players.
Albion are all but safe after Saturday's 1-0 win at Southend.
Poyet told BBC Sussex: "There'll be some tough decisions but I'm prepared to make tough decisions. I'm not afraid and it'll be the same with contracts.
"We will start with the players that we need to resolve first, and I want to talk to them personally one-to-one, just ourselves and the player."
Poyet's deal runs for another season when the club move to their new stadium at Falmer. But he could extend his own contract this week.
"The main point is to enjoy what you are doing and see the team playing the way you want. It's important I can put my style on the club because i think it works," he said.
"It should be easier to win games then I will be here a long time. If not, like everyone I'll get the sack."
