Brighton and Hove Albion deny Nicky Forster claims
Forster has scored 12 league goals this season
Brighton and Hove Albion say that striker Nicky Forster has not put in a transfer request.
The 36-year-old had said: "It has been mutually agreed that I have been placed on the transfer list, due to the fact there is no contract in the offing."
But a club spokesman told BBC Sussex that was not the case.
Forster, who joined Albion from Hull in June 2007 for £75,000, took his Albion tally to 50 goals in the FA Cup defeat by Aston Villa, his 15th of the season.
