Brighton & Hove Albion manager Micky Adams paid tribute to his players following their shock Carling Cup win over Manchester City.
The Albion beat the Blues 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at a packed Withdean Stadium on Wednesday.
He told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "As a player and manager I've been on the end of these shocks and surprises.
"All I can say is my boys were spot on tonight in terms of their effort, endeavour and pride."
