Brentford striker Carl Cort has signed a four-month contract extension to keep him at Griffin Park until the end of the season.
Cort, 32, has scored four times since signing a five-month deal in August.
Brentford boss Andy Scott told the club website: "I'm very keen to try to keep the squad together as a unit for the remainder of the campaign.
"I'm delighted Carl's agreed to stay as he continues to have a significant part to play for the rest of the season."
The former Wimbledon player, who subsequently signed for Newcastle for £7m in 2000, spent time on loan at Wycombe and Norwich in 2009.
