Kabba is in the squad for Brentford's opener at Carlisle United
Brentford have signed striker Steve Kabba on a one-year deal.
The 28-year-old goes straight into the Bees squad for their League One opener away to Carlisle United on Saturday.
Brentford boss Andy Scott told the club's website: "Steven is another experienced forward of a proven quality at a higher level.
"The fact that we have been promoted gives us the opportunity to bring him to Brentford and gives him the chance to kick start his career."
Kabba started his career at Crystal Palace but spent five seasons at Sheffield United before signing for Watford in 2007.
The London-born striker played in both the Championship and League One last season for Blackpool and Oldham respectively, before being released by Watford at the end of the campaign.
Scott said: "I've been tracking him for a while and last season we were close to securing his services before he went to Oldham to play League One football.
"[Steve] was progressing nicely until he had a difficult period at Watford. We are hoping we can benefit from his season of frustration and the enthusiasm he has shown us so far proves he is prepared to do what he can to go forward."
