Weston joined Notts County from Charlton in 2007 after a loan spell
Brentford have signed out-of-contract Notts County winger Myles Weston.
The 21-year-old was a regular for the Magpies last season, playing 49 games and scoring four goals after joining the club from Charlton.
As Weston is under 24 a transfer fee will be involved, and this could be decided by a tribunal.
Weston told the club's website: "I'm really pleased to be here. The squad is young and talented and capable of stepping up to the next level."
Weston admits that the chance to play in League One was a big attraction.
He added: "League One is full of big teams and having been released by Charlton a couple of years ago I have to say that they are the games I'm particularly looking forward to.
"I feel I've got a point to prove although there are plenty of big games from the off. I can't wait.
"It's a busy start and there are some decent teams to play just in the first few games. It's exciting and I'm looking forward to showing everyone what I can do.
"I'm fast and a good crosser. There are some good strikers here and I'll put the ball in the right places for them. If we work hard for each other we can get some results, some points on the board and take it from there."
