Brentford manager Andy Scott says he expects his players to give 100% every single day and in return he will help protect his players.
The Bees boss told BBC London 94.9: "I'm very protective of them all and I want to make sure that we're a very close unit.
"I represent them and I will take everything I've sold them.
"If they give me everything they've got I'm prepared to stand out in front of anyone and back them up.
He added: "I'll justify my reasons for having them here and I believe in them and I think they believe in me and my staff and that's very important.
We're a much more professional outfit now and that's what I demand

Scott, who was appointed manager at the start of 2008 following the December sacking of Terry Butcher, has brought in eight new signings over the summer.
"We've changed a lot of the staff members as well," he said. "There's a lot of new faces but I think if anyone came down and watched us in training and around the environment we're a much more professional outfit now and that's what I demand.
"We have got a bit of pressure on us, that's only from outside people.
"We've got our own goals, that we've set ourselves as groups which will stay amongst ourselves but fair to say as a club we need to be challenging at the top of the league.
"We've got individual targets and group targets and everyone's aware of what's expected of them and what we want to happen and if we can all achieve our own personal goals then as a group we're going to be okay."
