McCall's side have won their last two JPT games on penalties

Bradford boss Stuart McCall believes semi-final home advantage could be key to their chances of making the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

Bradford's penalty shoot-out win against Port Vale set up a tie with Accrington, Carlisle or Leeds.

McCall told BBC Radio Leeds: "Obviously Leeds are strong and will be the favourites without a doubt so it'll be nice if they can get someone else.

"If we can get a home tie then we'll give it a good go whoever we get."

McCall must wait until Saturday to find out who Bradford will face in the northern section semi-finals as they continue their quest for a first Wembley appearance since the play-off victory over Notts County in 1996.

Bradford's last meeting with Leeds was in last season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy when they lost 2-1 at Elland Road.

They have a good record against Accrington Stanley, having won two and drawn one of their last three meetings.

The Bantams last played Carlisle in the 2006-07 season when their league games produced a home draw and away defeat, before losing on penalties in the Carling Cup at Brunton Park.
