Colbeck was expected to be sidelined until the new year

Bradford City winger Joe Colbeck could return to action from injury sooner than first thought.

The 21-year-old cracked a bone in his foot during the win at Grimsby at the end of October.

Colbeck told BBC Radio Leeds: "They said three months and I thought that was terrible news.

"But because I'm young and fit I should hopefully be back in two months so hopefully I'm looking towards end of December or early January."
