Colbeck has scored two goals this season for Bradford

Bradford City's Joe Colbeck has been ruled out of action until the new year.

A scan has revealed the 21-year-old midfielder broke a bone in his foot during the Bantams 3-1 win over Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.

Colbeck will wear a surgical boot for the whole of November before starting rehabilitation in December.

City had already brought in Nicky Law from Sheffield United on a month's loan as cover for Colbeck and his deal could now be extended.
