Bournemouth boss Jimmy Quinn is ready to take up Spurs boss Harry Redknapp on his offer to provide players on loan.

The cash-strapped Cherries are in desperate need of players but unable to fund new faces in the transfer window.

Quinn told BBC Radio Solent: "I have spoken to him and he will see what he has got to help us. But he will not send someone down who cannot do a job.

"He says they have about 50 players and will speak to Clive Allen, so there might be something there."

A decision is yet to be made over loanees Matt Tubbs (Salisbury) and Mark Molesley (Grays) whose loans end at midnight on Wednesday. Ryan Garry is out of contract in January.

Quinn has also ruled out a move to bring back striker Steve Fletcher to the club.

"Steve is at Crawley on a decent contract so I don't think we would be able to afford him," he said.

"I would like to have someone like him but where do you get a 6 foot 4 inch striker with that experience, it's very hard."

Bournemouth, who were deducted 17 points at the beginning of the season, are currently seven points adrift of safety in League Two.
